CSN Stores Review

CSN Stores has over 200 online stores for you to shop at!  When I was given a $60 gift certificate to use to pick up some of their products I knew I was going to hit them up for kitchen supplies!  $60.00 went a LOOOOONG way when it comes to shopping at CSN Stores!  Are you ready to see what all I was able to purchase??  Well come on!

The first product I received was the Nordicware Zoo Friends Pancakes Pan!  The cute little animals, a Lion, Crocodile and Rhino to name a few printed clearly on each of the pancakes and my 3 year old twins LOVED them!  I'm also doing the snacks for our church VBS this year, and will be making up the pancakes for them as it goes with our theme this year, A Prayer Safari!

Next on my shopping list was the

Nordicware Kitchenware 16" Stackable Cooking Rack Set

This comes in handy when we are making up a ton of those cute little animal pancakes or cookies or zuchinni bread!  Surprisingly sturdy, this rack holds up to all of your baking needs.

Alright, onto my last two products!  Do you know how much I love Paula Deen?  Okay, I'm in LOVE with her and her sweet southern accent!  One of my bucket list wishes it to go visit her restaurant and if I got to meet her too...well, I'd probably just go ahead and head on home to heaven!  I was lucky enough to be able to use the gift certificate to purchase her ADORABLE Melamine Measuring Spoons.  These spoons are soo cute!  I almost didn't want to use them, but I knew Paula would be like..."Girlfriend, you use those measuring spoons!  So I did!  haha  Take a look at these!

 

Do you see the little chickens???  Yes!!  Okay, not only are these measuring spoons cute but they are tough!  I love to let my little one's and my teenagers help me cook!  These spoons have no problem holding up to be used for digging through the flour, brown sugar, or whatever else you are needing for your recipe!  And talking about cooking with your kids...love that segue?  The last thing I purchased was the Paula Deen's My First Cookbook.

Paula gives LOTS of really fun recipes to cook with your kids!  You know if you let them help you, your kids will be more likely to EAT what has been prepared!  This recipe book is quick and too the point, breaking up the sections into breakfast, lunches, snacks, etc.  My twins love just flipping through the sturdy pages and looking at all of the yummy treats that are available!  Definitely one of those cookbooks if you have kids!

My husband and I are both in Leadership roles at our church.  We are always on the look out for good studies for the childrens church and Youth to do.  I was excited when I was contacted to do a review of Vicki Courtney's Between God and Me-A Journey through Proberbs study for middle school girls! 

The format of this book is friendly for tween girls with bright colors and easy to read studies of each proverb.  I love the interaction parts of the book, making it easy to use for a small group or just a mom and daughter to work through.  This book would be a great addition to your middle school girls homeschool curriculum too!

Have you ever started reading a book and "think" you know how the book is going to end and be terribly wrong?  I am glad I was wrong!  Shades of Morning is going on my shelf as a keeper.  Let me tell you what the inside cover says, then we'll dig in a little more...

Summary:
Marnie Wittier has life just where she wants it. Quiet. Peaceful. No drama. A long way away from her past. Marnie is a very real character that has a past.  I found myself feeling like I knew her.  Maybe saw a little bit of myself in her.  As the story progresses, you can't help but get sucked into the mystery between her and her past boyfriend, Taylor.  This book is so much more than a romance novel.   It leads you down the life path of a very interesting woman and those people who molded the person she became and those who are in her present that are breaking the mold.
