Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue has arrived!

Oh, Tinker Bell, how do I love thee?  Let me count the ways!

I love the way my little Diva likes to pretend she is you!
And how when she has on her fairy wings, she smiles so pretty...and
How she loves her Goldie while pretending to be you...

But, I KNOW she isn't the "real" Tinker Bell but she is to me:)  Lucky for you, you can now pick up Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue!  Watch the trailer below...

The reviews for this movie have been spectacular as you can see below.

“A testament to Disney's impressive production quality” - Premiere.com

“There's a steady heartbeat pulsing deep within this direct-to-video gem.” - Blu-ray.com

“Highly Recommended!” - DVDTalk.com

“This is the kind of movie that it seems Blu-ray was invented for.” - Table4Five.com

“The kids are absolutely head over heels with the movie.” -TheParentsWithStyle.com

“Unlike some other kiddie franchises, the Tinker Bell fairies pack a slightly edgier punch... which is a nice contrast to the constant cheerfulness and eternal optimism that can sap any hint of realism out of other kids' movies.” - CommonSenseMedia.org

My question to you is, why haven't you gone to pick it up!?!?  If you look through my recent posts, you will even find a coupon for $10.00 OFF!  Go buy it, then come back and tell me what you thought!

Comfy wool clothing? Yes please!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Rambler's Way Farm. All opinions are 100% mine.

Winter is right around the corner and it get bitterly cold out on the plains of Kansas.  Because I'm lucky I get to stay inside when its cold but my poor sweet husband and two teenaged children are forced to go out into the frigid temperatures for work and school.

Because they have to go out into the cold, I'm always on the look out for warm clothing that they can wear in layers because I don't know about you, but I hate it when you do get into the warm work/school environment and your dying from heat because your buried under thick sweaters.  Enter in Ramblers Way Farm.

Ramblers Way Farm has beautiful wool clothing that is not bulky, itchy or uncomfortable!  The material looks like its soft as silk and would feel just delicious against the skin. Pulling out my my imaginary unlimited...um, $200.00 limit credit card, I did a little shopping.

One of the first things I would buy is this shirt for my gorgeous husband...

Isn't that a beautiful shirt?  I can just imagine him being so warm and toasty even out in the nasty cold.  What else can I buy....let's see, how about the Cross Neck Long Sleeve Tee?  I know my daughter would just love this shirt!

Looking for warmth?  Try wool!

And even more importantly try Rambler's Way!

We want a PlayStationMove!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of PlayStation(R) Move. All opinions are 100% mine.

I started researching some new game systems and ran into the new PlayStation(R)MOVE.  I was very excited to see a new gaming system that encourages the family to get up and move while playing the games! As a family, we already do family game night but the PlayStation(R)MOVE Click Here would give us some more options on games to play.

One of the big positives is that PlayStation(R)MOVE has a big selections of games for all ages.  That is so important in our household because we have children ages 3 1/2 to 18 years old.   Games that involve cute little animals like EyePet to the thrill of adventure in Time Crisis: Razing Storm

The super cool news about the PlayStation(R)MOVE is that if you already have a Playstation3, you can buy the MOVE bundle for $99!  Be sure to check out all of the other games they have available and tell me what you'd like to try!  Click Here

Tinker Bell is COMING!!!!

I can't help it!  I LOVE Tinker Bell!  I have fallen in even more love with Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue!  My little Diva has been running around with fairy wings since she watched the movie and I'll be honest, I'm totally envious!  Ha!  Oh yea, I want fairy wings too!!!!

What can I do for my fabulous readers to prepare them for the release of Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue?  How about a recipe?  I know you all love to cook as much as I do!

 INGREDIENTS:
• 1/2 cantaloupe -
peeled, seeded and cubed
• 1 lime, juiced
• 2 tablespoons honey
• 1 cup of ice
Refreshing Pixie Nectar

DIRECTIONS:
With the help of an adult, combine cantaloupe, lime
juice, honey and a cup of ice in a blender. Blend
until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.
Makes 2 magical servings

And maybe while your sipping on your Tinker Bell Refreshing Pixie Nectar, you'd like to make a cute fairy craft?

You Will Need:
• One large plastic bottle
• One 8–12 inch stick
• Scissors
• A nail
• Twine, thin rope or wire

Instructions: Have an adult help you when using scissors, pins or any sharp metal objects.

1- Cut two small “X” shaped openings on both sides of your bottle.
2- Push your stick through one opening and out the other for perches.
3- Cut out two small feeding holes about 2 inches above each perch.
4- Punch a hole at one end of your bottle using your nail.
5- Thread your string through the hole and tie off for hanging.
6- Fill the bottle with bird seed or finely chopped nuts.
7- Find a bird-friendly place to hang your feeding station.
8- See how many birds come to visit!

Decorating Time:
Now that you’ve made your bird feeder it’s time
to decorate Pixie Hollow style! You can use
paint, glue, leaves and moss to make your bird
feeder look like it came right out of Pixie Hollow!
Don’t forget to add some pixie dust!

If you'd like to print of the pdf version of the recipe and craft, please just follow this link!

Daily Guideposts 2011 Review and Giveaway

*Giveaway is now closed*

I'm a big believer in starting out your day with the Lord.  Be it reading your bible or a daily devotional.  Whatever works best for your family and yourself.  Ali from phenix & phenix Literary Publishing was gracious enough to send me a free copy of the 35th Anniversary Edition of Daily Guideposts to review and to offer one to one of my lucky readers.

Daily Guideposts has been around for a long time.  35 years to be exact, in case you didn't get that from the title, ha!  Daily Guideposts offers a one page daily devotional for you to read and meditate on.  I love the format of a life story for each devotional, making it easier to put the experience into your own life.

A quick synopsis of Daily Guideposts 35th Anniversary Edition:

“Daily Guideposts: 2011” celebrates growing in God’s love and wisdom, bringing readers simple yet profound devotions to connect with God in new ways — even on the most hectic of days.

Daily entries open with a scripture reading for meditative reflection, followed by a true, first-person story, and close with a short prayer. Monthly “seeds of love” sections encourage readers to write down their blessings so they will become more mindful of all they have to be thankful for in their lives.

More than 50 writers contribute to this new spiritual companion, sharing stories of how God has transformed their relationships, jobs, families and faith. With stories from bestselling authors such as Debbie Macomber to veteran “Daily Guideposts” devotional contributors Marion Bond West and Carol Kuykendall, Daily Guideposts readers will recognize their favorite writers while discovering new voices along the way.
