Outdoor Furniture at Pier 1!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Pier 1 for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I'm soooooo ready for Spring to get here!  After a cold winter and being stuck inside, i want to head outside and start working on the yard and getting my sitting area all set up.  That's where Pier 1 comes into play!  I've always loved the home furnishings that Pier 1 has, but their outside furniture is really amazing this year!

When I went to the Pier 1 website to see what was online for spring, wasn't I pleasantly surprised when I saw all the beautiful furniture that is for outside AND inside. I mean WOW! multi use furniture is right up my budget friendly alley! I fell in love with the Outdoor Mocha Trunk.  Ah, the thought of having a place for some of the smaller outdoor toys just makes me smile!  I'm always picking the toys up before mowing, etc.  The Mocha Trunk gives me a nice place to store everything.

The other outdoor product that caught my eye was the super cute green metal beverage tub!  Now, beverages would be great, but just imagine how cute a bunch of gerber daisies planted in it would look.  I'd love to have four of these set up near the table and chairs to give a splash of color.

Now while I was perusing  the inside/outside possibilities, I ran across the Rockasan Chair!  I have always LOVED the snuggling you can do on a Papasan chair, but one that rocks too?! I'm so in love!!!!

Be sure and sign up for the Pier 1 Outdoor newsletter and get a heads up when the specials are going to begin!   And if your lucky enough to live in Dallas (March 22), Atlanta (April 5), or NYC(April 20), click here to check out the Pier 1 Tweetups.

What would you love to have from the Pier 1?

The Dragon and the Turtle Go on Safari by Donita K. Paul and Evangeline Denmark

The Dragon and the Turtle Go on Safari by Donita K. Paul and Evangeline Denmark has got to be one of the cutest books I've ever read!  The british accent just feeds into my desire to act out characters for my twins and this book is definitely one that get's you ready for spring and summer camping!  The adorable little characters go on an overnight camping trip to Mount Sillymanborrow and discover a multitude of "wild" animals!  I love how the book takes our normal pets and neighborhood creatures and transforms them into giraffes and rhino's!

If your looking for a book that is going to encourage imagination and creativity with your children, pick up a copy of The Dragon and the Turtle Go on Safari by Donita K. Paul and Evangeline Denmark at Barnes and Noble!

I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.
